Soup Timun

Sup Timun
  • 1 cucumber (Bonteng)
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 red tomato
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil for sautéing
  • 5 onions
  • 2 garlic
  • 3 candlenuts
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • ½ tablespoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
How to make Soup Timun
  1. Fry the spices and the cooking oil
  2. Add the water and wait until it boils
  3. Prepare the vegetables: peel the carrots, potatoes and cucumbers. Chop in some pieces
  4. Add the vegetables to the soup
  5. Approximately 30 minutes, then add the tomato and celery
  6. Turn off the stove and the cucumber soup is ready to be served
